Slack Wax

Slack waxes are unrefined waxes with high oil content.

They are typically light brown to black in color. Only 2% of crude oil is converted into lubricating oils, and a small percent of that processed into wax products. Paraffin and Microcrystalline are separated from lubricating oils during vacuum distillation. Fully refined products may be filtered to remove color and odor.
